Sosina Tilahun (She/Her)

Co-Founder & Project Lead


Sosina Tilahun is the Co-founder and Project Lead of Black Youth Connect (BYC). 

Sosina is passionate about mentorship and supporting Black youth to reach their potential. She understands first-hand the importance of positive mentors and access to the right opportunities. Over the past three years, Sosina has brought together a team of dedicated individuals to start BYC, a space where Black youth can access a network of supportive peers and professionals to help them reach their academic and career goals.  

Sosina is a second-year law student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. She has taken on leadership roles within the school community including her role as the Director of Mentorship for the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA).
